Affiliate program terms

These terms govern participation in the private VectorMethods affiliate program, including promotion, referral attribution, commissions, and payouts administered through Tolt.

Acceptance and enrollment

Last updated: September 2, 2026. By applying to, accepting an invitation to, or participating in the VectorMethods affiliate program, you agree to these terms and the program settings presented through Tolt. If you act for an organization, you represent that you can bind it to these terms.

The program is private and subject to manual approval. We may approve or decline an application in our discretion. Approval is personal to the approved affiliate, is not transferable, and does not create or modify a VideoVector product account.

You must keep your affiliate, contact, tax, and payout information accurate and must be legally able to enter into this agreement.

Prohibited promotion

  • Self-referrals are prohibited, including purchases for your own use or attempts to route your account, organization, household, controlled entity, or payment method through your affiliate link.
  • Cookie stuffing is prohibited, including forced clicks, hidden frames, automatic redirects, toolbars, extensions, scripts, or any other technique that sets or overwrites attribution without a visitor's informed and voluntary action.
  • Brand bidding is prohibited. You may not bid on VectorMethods, VideoVector, related marks, misspellings, or confusingly similar terms in paid search or use them in domains, social handles, ad accounts, or display URLs without prior written permission.
  • Spam and unlawful outreach are prohibited. You may not send unsolicited bulk messages or promote through purchased lists, deceptive messages, or channels where you lack the required consent or permission.
  • Misleading claims are prohibited. You may not misstate product capabilities, pricing, performance, availability, security, customer relationships, or your relationship with VectorMethods.
  • Unauthorized discounts are prohibited. You may not advertise coupons, credits, rebates, discounts, or promotional terms that VectorMethods has not expressly authorized in writing or made available to you through the program.

Commissions and adjustments

Commission eligibility and amounts are governed by the VectorMethods program settings and any affiliate-specific or link-specific terms recorded in Tolt. We may change those settings or end an offer prospectively by updating Tolt or providing other reasonable notice. The settings in effect when Tolt records the relevant eligible transaction govern unless a correction is required for fraud, error, duplicate attribution, or legal compliance.

Commissions remain pending until approved under the applicable Tolt settings. Refunds, chargebacks, payment reversals, credits, disputes, fraud, non-payment, duplicate transactions, and ineligible or prohibited referrals may reverse, reduce, or void the related commission. Cancellation of a subscription stops commissions on future recurring charges after cancellation becomes effective.

You are responsible for reviewing your Tolt portal and promptly reporting a suspected attribution or commission error. We may correct documented errors, but we are not required to credit activity that cannot be verified in Tolt or that violates these terms.

Payouts and taxes

Tolt administers payout onboarding, payout methods, applicable identity and tax-document collection, invoices or payout records, minimum thresholds, and payout status. You must complete Tolt's required tax, identity, and payout steps before payment and comply with Tolt's applicable terms and provider requirements.

Payout timing is subject to commission approval, the configured payout schedule and threshold, fraud and compliance review, and processing by Tolt, payment networks, banks, and other providers. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information, provider review, sanctions screening, banking systems, or events outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for determining, reporting, and paying taxes arising from your commissions. We or Tolt may request forms, withhold amounts, or report payments when required by law.

Brand use and relationship

During approved participation, you may use program-provided VectorMethods names, marks, and materials only to promote the program in accordance with these terms and any brand guidance. You may not modify the marks, imply ownership, register confusingly similar rights, or use materials after participation ends.

You participate as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates employment, agency, partnership, franchise, fiduciary, exclusivity, or authority to bind VectorMethods. You bear your own costs and control how you conduct compliant promotion.

Suspension, termination, and withholding

Either party may end participation at any time. We may suspend links, commissions, or access immediately when we reasonably suspect fraud, self-referral, cookie stuffing, abuse, legal or platform risk, inaccurate account information, or another breach of these terms.

On termination, you must stop using affiliate links and VectorMethods branding. Valid commissions approved before termination remain payable under the applicable Tolt settings, but we may withhold, void, reverse, or offset commissions tied to fraud, chargebacks, prohibited conduct, material breach, or amounts previously paid in error. Recordkeeping, tax, payment-adjustment, intellectual-property, liability, and enforcement provisions survive termination where applicable.

Disclaimers and liability

The program, affiliate portal, links, and reporting are provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee acceptance, uninterrupted attribution, any level of traffic, conversion, revenue, commission, or continued availability of the program.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VectorMethods will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the program. VectorMethods' aggregate liability arising from the program will not exceed the commissions paid or payable to you during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page and may notify active affiliates through Tolt or another reasonable channel. Continued participation after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
